So, just two short days after finally coming up w/ a name for my car, the one bought from Amy and Dan, well, somehow it got stolen. Yes, that’s right, stolen. Amazing. It was parked along the street in front of my house, and both Chris and i were home; and the front door was open so we could see the car from the living room. Given the size of the house and that we were both home, we couldn’t have been more than 70 feet away when it happened. and it was light outside – it happened sometime between 6:30 and 8:pm.

we’re both baffled, and have no clue how it happened. hopefully it was just a couple kids that took it on a lark – somehow hotwiring it or having a generic old toyota key – and will leave it parked when they run out of gas. but we’ll see.
